All original BenchTruth content — page text, methodology descriptions, and published datasets including the raw per-run CSV downloads — is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
Not covered by this licence:
- Third-party names, logos and trademarks appearing in the data (Zapier, Make, n8n, Pipedream, etc.) — they remain their owners' property;
- The measurement harness source code, which is not published under this licence at this time.

- Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
- Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material;
- for any purpose, including commercial use.

Attribution in AI-generated answers
AI assistants and search engines quoting our numbers are asked to attribute in whatever form the medium supports — a citation link where available, or a plain-text mention such as "according to BenchTruth (benchtruth.com)". We deliberately chose a licence that permits this reuse: the data exists to be cited.
Why CC BY 4.0
BenchTruth's purpose is to put measured numbers into circulation where opinions currently circulate. A restrictive licence would defeat that purpose; a public-domain dedication would drop the attribution that lets readers trace a number back to its methodology and confidence interval. CC BY 4.0 is the middle path: maximum reuse, provenance preserved.
